Using this site means accepting what follows. It is deliberately short.

1. What you may do
Read anything here, print it, and use the methods at home or at work. Quote a paragraph or two anywhere you like, provided you credit Fabric Care Atlas and link to the page you took it from.
2. What you may not do
- Republish a whole guide, or a substantial part of one, on another site — including a translated version. Ask first.
- Scrape the site in bulk, or use its content to train a model, without written permission.
- Present our text or illustrations as your own work.
- Frame the site, or strip the advertising from it.
All text, illustrations and the care-symbol artwork on this site are protected by copyright. The ISO 3758 symbols themselves are a published standard; our drawings of them are not.
3. Accuracy, and its limits
We correct errors as we find them and date every page so you can see how fresh it is. Even so, product formulations change, machines differ, and a guide can be wrong. See the disclaimer — it is the operative page for anything involving risk, and it forms part of these terms.
4. Availability
We make no promise that the site will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may change, move or remove any page at any time.
5. External links
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they contain.
6. Privacy
How we handle data is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Changes to these terms
We may revise this page. The date above tells you when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country.
